Shelves - For Windows Explorer
Shelves for Windows Explorer
Nobody on this site did this as far as i can see, way back then when i saw shelves for Mac i loved the idea but never found a way to do it in Windows XP, But now for those who want 128 icons in XP and Shelves well here it is.
You are not limited to shelves, use your own creativity with this, you could recreate and Mac finder look, or just replace your wallpaper folder with a wallpaper. Or add Photoshop effects like a drop shadow or a fabric bend to make it look like the background is resting on the wood a little.
You will need to do customizing on your part i cannot include a universal shelve that will work for every one.
NOTE: Your icons must be 128 by 128 auto resizing for this to look right.
You will need a Photo editing program like Adobe Photoshop and Axialis IconWorkshop to make really good icons, and IconPackanger to replaces old small iocns with large 128 icons.
I recommend downloading Antares and modding it to fit your stlye like i have done. Get the icon pack here
To apply your shelves in Windows XP Explorer download WindowPaper by sodabush, It writes a config file in the folder that you are customizing, you could do this manually but this is way faster and simple to use this program.
