Every time a program crashes in Windows XP, an “Error Report” screen pops up allowing you to send some information on the crash to Microsoft. You can follow these steps to disable it
- Click Start button – Settings - Control Panel.
- Double click System icon.
- On the Advanced tab, click Error Reporting button.
