Creating a Shutdown Shortcut

Windows XP has a program called shutdown.exe which allows you to easily create shortcut to shutdown or restart your computer.
To create a shutdown shortcut on the desktop:
- Right click on the desktop.
- Click New - Shortcut.
- Enter in “shutdown -s -t 00” (type without quotes).
- Press the Next button.
- Type a name for this shortcut.
- Click Finish button.
